Kalyna Care (formerly The Ukrainian Elderly People’s Home) in Delahey opened on 26 April 1993. It is a fully accredited low care facility that embraces the ageing in place philosophy and was built by the Ukrainian community with government assistance.
Australian Strategic Services has worked with Kalyna Care on governance and strategic work consistent with a community-built aged care service.
