Most boards and/or chief executive officers claim to have a strategic plan; but in reality few have an agreed strategic planning framework, process or the package of tools to plan, implement, monitor and review their organisation’s strategic plan, business plans and the various organisational development plans that will protect and develop the organisation and its services.
